Born in Newcastle Kwazulu Natal, South Africa, Buhle started riding just 4 years ago.
Just two years after an introductory urban fixie ride through the streets of Soweto, Johannesburg South Africa, she finished the 2019 Cape Epic, in the mixed category, with a male riding partner.
And in October 2021 she completed the Cape Epic for the 2nd time placing 10th in the all women's category with fellow South Africa Remofilwe Moeketsi.
